A practical ChatGPT programme for real work

ChatGPT For Teams is designed for people who do not live in technical roles, but who write a lot of emails, reports, policies or event communications. The programme helps staff understand how ChatGPT works, where it is useful and how to use it sensibly in day to day work.

Every exercise uses examples drawn from your organisation, so the learning connects directly to the work people are doing day to day.

Who this course is for

  • Non technical staff in organisations and charities.
  • Managers who want their teams to use AI safely and sensibly.
  • Teams that write a lot of emails, reports, policies or event communications.

Format

  • 4 x 1 hour live sessions.
  • Group size: 8 to 20 people.
  • Each session built around practical exercises using real work examples.

Key outcomes for participants

By the end of the programme, participants will be able to use ChatGPT with more confidence, clarity and judgment in their day to day work.

  • Explain what ChatGPT is and what it can and cannot do.

  • Write clear prompts that give useful and reliable outputs.

  • Adapt messages for different audiences such as parents, volunteers, staff and partners.

  • Create a role specific AI expert they can reuse for their own job.

  • Upload policies, reports and plans, then turn them into summaries, checklists, FAQs or draft communications.

What this programme is not

  • It is not a generic lecture about AI that people forget by the end of the week.

  • It is not a technical course that assumes coding or data science skills.

  • It is not a promise that AI can replace good judgment or remove the need for review.

The aim is practical literacy and better day to day use, not hype. Participants leave with clear patterns they can apply in their roles and a realistic sense of where AI helps and where it does not.
